Commercial Members Committee

The COHEAO Commercial Members Committee advocates for COHEAO on both legislative and regulatory issues and is instrumental in coordinating and supporting grass roots initiatives. The Committee’s focal points include advocacy for the preservation of the Perkins Loan Program and monitoring the development and activities within the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

Our role is to assess the needs and concerns of all COHEAO members and work with the COHEAO Board to formulate future initiatives. COHEAO recently released a letter in support of the critical role that Private Collection Agencies play in sustaining the Federal Loan Programs through the collection services provided to colleges and universities and the Department of Education.

The Commercial Members Committee is chaired by Denyc Perez. For more information, or to join, please contact Denyc.
